X (TWITTER) UPDATES POLICY TO OFFICIALLY ALLOW PORN & SEXUAL CONTENT

X has updated its policy to officially welcome adult content.

In new guidelines published to their website, X (formerly known as Twitter) has said that adult content is welcome on the platform as long as it is consensually produced, labelled as adult content and is restricted from viewing by under 18s.

X define adult content as “full or partial nudity, explicit or implied sexual behavior or simulated acts such as sexual intercourse and other sexual acts” and have said on the update to their policy, “We believe that users should be able to create, distribute, and consume material related to sexual themes as long as it is consensually produced and distributed. Sexual expression, whether visual or written, can be a legitimate form of artistic expression.

“We believe in the autonomy of adults to engage with and create content that reflects their own beliefs, desires, and experiences, including those related to sexuality. We balance this freedom by restricting exposure to Adult Content for children or adult users who choose not to see it.”

The move comes after many X users have seen an increase in the amount of explicit material they were seeing on the platform, with rapper Big Sean notably saying recently in a now viral tweet, “Its hornier than pornhub on here, sheesh. Damn near gotta be dolo just to open dis b*tch up… this is NOT one them tweets to drop no freaky shit under either”
